I have just returned from staying at the Memel Hotel for the weekend(current) as I was doing a few more passes in the area to add to my long list already.For those riders who have not yet visited the area yet I would highly recommend that you do.It is a 2.5hr drive from JHB and Chris and Audrey,the owners of the hotel really make you feel welcome and at home.The food is good,the beers are even better and is well priced.
I apologise that I was only able to do the routes in my Jeep Wrangler for various reasons.A couple of bikers were already staying at the same time and were travelling onto Clarens.The bikers were on a TE610 and a XR 250(wifes).
Just ask Chris for a route map of the local area.Below find a couple of pics.
