Hi fellow Airheads,
My 1985 R80GS has decided to surprise me every now and then with a puff of white smoke when I start her up in the mornings. It seems to have happened on an occasion after I stopped for coffee and started her up again. This continues for approximately 1km, but then disappears.
She normally behaves, but this appears to happen very intermittently. Sharingroads mentioned the valve stem seals. I thought I would ask around before contacting Tony the airhead guru in Silverton as those telephone conversations could potentially last for an hour or 2! ;D
