Got my new machine 4 weeks ago :thumleft: Planning first trip to baviaans in June. Very chuffed with the bike, huge improvement (power, handling, functions, fuel range) compared to my previous GS 1200 2010 model. Time will tell, but I am confident that the machine will deliver in all aspects of the GS tradition.

Die gier met die bottels op die topboks herinner aan die gasbottels op 'n Landrover se roofrack.   ;D

Nice test done between new GS1200 Adventure and KTM 1190 Adventure R, seems no clear winner though

My opinion, has and will always be:
GS - comfort, long distance, tourier with the capability to do offroading from time to time
KTM - Hooligan offroad machine with the capability to do long distance touring from time to time..

all depends what you going to do more of.

As I have said before, the new GS is the biggest piece of crap ever build by any bike manufacturer ever!

It will remain such till I get one.
