I haven't been very active on the Wild dogs forum previously.
So here we go:
For those that don't know, I am Marnitz Venter. I run CROSA page on FB and Old Skool Trading (www.oldskooltrading.co.za).
Colin and I also run a custom motorcycle blog called Retro Write Up (www.retrowriteup.com).
We recently set out a challenge for Speedweek called the Retro Write Up Speedweek Challenge. (https://www.retrowriteup.com/retro-write-speedweek-challenge/)
The idea is to get more pre-75 motorcycles out on Hakskeenpan and to start a friendly comradery amongst custom bike shops and amateur builders.
I bought this BSA basket case from Peter Moody December 2013. He added a conical front wheel and very good original tank for a extra R500.
The idea behind this build is to have a fairly reliable bobber that will make a extra couple of horses than standard.
I will post some more progress posts during this week, I should be getting my hard-tailed frame back this week.
