I leave in Maputo and i am going to pick up a bike in CAPE TOWN to bring it home. Its beeing rebuilt by Fury Costums (https://www.facebook.com/FuryCustomBikeShop?ref=br_tf) Its a 1979 BMW r65.
What tips can you give me? I have some thoughts:
.Have arround 6 days to do it
.Wouldn't wont to make more than a 400km/day average
.Am traveling solo so...
.No night driving
.Avoid dangerous areas
.Hotels/lodges with garages
Has anyone made this trip? Any areas to avoid? Should i go folowing the coast or interior?
