These guys unveiled their motorbikes for the first time, William Harley and Arthur Davidson, 1914.

A 1903 Indian motorcycle, the oldest unrestored motorcycle made in the US and the only one of its kind, valued at over 155,000 US dollars.

Love is? Tarmac, throttle wide open! and the pipes screeming like banshees
understanding "Madness does not always howl! Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "Hey,  theres room in your head for one more?"

Long story..... ;) Bought the bike from a guy that inherited it from his dad who in turn inherited it from his dad. Bike had not run for a couple of decades when i got it so i got various parts from the States, Germany and New Zealand to get it going. Some parts are available but others have to be made up. It's a difficult old girl to ride as it only has a foot operated rear brake, no front brake and a foot clutch. 3 Speed gearbox with suicide shift. Try pulling away on a hill with that set up  :imaposer:. Thought about fitting a sidecar which would make it alot easier to ride but we'll see. Big bucks for that one. the bike is fitted with "clincher" rims & tyres which themselves are quite scary.
Gonna spray it the original Olive Drab one of these days but for now the project is on the back burner. Since getting it going i've done about 200 trouble filled km's :imaposer:.....................
