Made a rear rack for my CRF , added a 5L extra fuel carrier .
Attached the rack to the frame to strengthen the rear subframe ...

Any reason you do not have more 'crossbars' on your rear luggage rack, to prevent the bag (or whatever) from slipping through..

the bag I use for travel is a Lomo waterproof bag -- it has tie attachments on the bottom sides - fits perfect over the frame without slipping through --- didn't want to add unnecessary weight with more bars . For around here heading to town for shopping I just attach a crate to the top which has its own bottom .

Hey Guys
Really enjoying my CRF.
Has anyone had this problem?
It stalled on me out of the blue the other day. I pulled up for a bit then as I pulled off it stalled. Punched the happy button, nothing. Looked at the dash and everything was dead.
I recycled the key many times, no joy. Stone dead like the battery was disconnected or something.
There was no intermittent fault lead-up to this condition.
Pulled the side covers off, checked all the fuses and the battery terminals, all good. Battery tests at 12.8v.
I have noticed that with the key on, the neutral light will sometimes very briefly flicker when I hit the starter button.
Have not had the time to look deeper yet.
Any ideas??

Despite testing ok with just a volt meter, the battery was klaar.
Fitted a new one and all is good.
