So Myself, Bloues and 2wdrift did a Lekker loop around Loskop the past weekend. 600km total of that not more than 100km tar.
We all arrived at Rayton early saturday morning and took the railway roads to Bronkies, from there did a small tar section to ekandustria and took some nice sand roads to the Zusterstroom gravel roads. the scenery was like always awesome, and the riding even better we managed a good pace and took some pics(tx bloues). We stopped at Loskop at riverside pub for a lekker Vetkoek and mince(R15!!!) and a beer, filled the bikes and headed off to the farm where we offloaded the bikes.from there we took some backroads through game farms in the mountain and the area was realy stunning, nice riding with some rocks, water crossings and single track. The Tempratures were high and we decided to take the gravel to Dullstroom for some Beer tasting at Anvil micro brewery. The dirt back from Dullstroom to the farm was good but we turned the pace down a bit after the beer tasting.... Bloues just started the fire in time before the rain started but kept the flames high enough to burn through the rain, I suspect the three ships helped us with this fire effort.... The rugby was the low of the weekend! we saddled up our horses the next morning and headed back on the damp gravel roads, no dust, GREAT! thanks Bloues and 2wdrift was really a awesome weekend with great riding! Heebs you missed out big time!
