Did a weekend last month with n round trip of 350 km dirt roads with the "Bosvarke". Slept over at Guano Caves the Saturday knight and being so close to home (45 km), I sommer took my bush trailer for a more comfortable "overnighter."  Had a fridge, queen size bed ect.. After the ride, had to go and fetch the trailer again which was no hassle.  ;D ;D
The best places are yet to be discovered!!!!!!!!!

If yous ever make it to New Mexico, I'd recommend this place for quiet rest and relaxation with medicinal and soothing hot natural spring water fed pools.

Don't forget to visit Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument to see how Indians lived inside the mountainside centuries ago.

Jaag en vat kanse, moenie indruk nie, die boek is klaar geskryf!

Is it still possible to buy these tents.  Would be nice when hiking, as you can use your hiking sticks as poles.

That's a cool Hack you have there  :thumleft:

Hack = slang for sidecar.

What's Glamping?  GS camping?

I think it is called 'credit card camping' elsewhere.
Usually it refers to an actual bed surrounded by walls and a roof - chalet, motel etc - with a flush toilet !
AIRHEADS ARE AN ADMIRABLE ADDICTION !
Life is far too short to be taken too seriously.

I must admit, I took my 4 season tent with me on my recent snowmobile trip, a -30F Browning sleeping bag, I wanted to winter camp, but I wussed out after finding a cheap motel for only $45usd per night!
