Last weekend we were invited from our Chairman Lorenzo, to gather at Oasis in the Cederberg, to celebrate his birthday. What a great treat he had in store for all of us. A long night at the fire followed and the next day everyone had their own idea to get home. Most of the guys headed straight home but I had a few roads in mind that I wanted to explore.
Some of these small roads are not on T4A but they are visible on Google Earth. The first road that I wanted to explore was a track going up a
mountain.
It’s even got a road sign which says Blinkberg.
It’s a nice track leading to a short but nasty climb.
As I had far too many drinks the night before I was not in the most adventures mood to drop my bike, decided to park it and walked up there. I did a 2hr hike up the mountain and apart from that steep section in the beginning it is quite manageable to ride even on an adventure tanker like mine.
Has anybody been up there?
