Query on possible costs

Hi all, a friend of mine was in an accident on Monday, person tried to jump the turn before oncoming traffic moved... He's fine and most of the bike too... I was just wondering (for his sake) what would an estimate price range be to replace the whole front-end (forks, front fender, speedo, handle-bars, switches etc) whether it's new or second hand but in good condition, it doesn't matter. It will kind of decide whether he keeps the bike to fix it up or to sell it as is. Thanks in advance
