Sold 2005 KTM 625 SXC

So it is with some mixed feelings that I am placing this ad. I have to sell y 625SXC and it is mostly loadshedding's fault.

Some back-ground;

I bought the bike August of 2022. I then proceeded to fix a whole bunch of stuff and do some preventative maintenance. I replaced the cam follower bearings with the superseded part from KTM, I rebuild the water pump and flushed the system, I had the fork seals replaced and fork bleeders installed, and I have the speedo's casing replaced. The speedo belongs to this bike but its just a new case. I replaced the two grab handles on the back of the bike with the 640 ADV's luggage rack. I also serviced the bike and I will include a service kit with the sale of the bike.

The bike is roadworthy and is registered in my name. All paper work is up to date and the disc is valid until 31 July 2023. Bike is also insured for a good amount of money as it has some extras.

It has an original KTM 18L long range tank.
It has a hyde bashplate.
The front rim was replaced by the previous owner and is in good shape. The rear rime is also in good shape. Both are excel rims.
The chain and sprockets are in semi-good condition.

Honesty section;
The front disc has a warp in it.
If you tip the bike too far over on the side stand petrol comes out of the over flow.
The exhaust has seen better. The bike would benefit from an after market exhaust.
The tank has some scratch marks. I though about having it resprayed but that would take away from the character of this bike.
Tyres are in fair condition.

I just did a 500km trip on the bike and it was flawless. Starts easily and runs really well. Even with my dukgat it did a great job climbing some of the roads in Magoebaskloof.

I don't really want sell the bike but I had to buy a loadshedding solution as I work from home and the debt is just stacking up.

The bike has 218 hours on it and the odo reads 12006 km.

The price is R40 000 but please feel free to talk to me. I will include a extra front tyre, the original grab handles and the service kit. I'll also put the bike through roadworthy.
