Hi guys,
I was offered a XL200R scrambler. It belonged to and elderly gent, who recently passed away and his widow wants to sell the bike. It is in good running condition, apparently and was very well looked after and cared for.
The lady wants R15 000.00 cash for it. Is this a fair price or maybe a little high? I have no idea what these bikes are worth and how available spares for them are, but I have seen quite a few CRF230's around for R20k odd, which in my opinion might be a better buy - or not?
The bike is only for farm use and my son would probably use it to join us on the odd Saturday morning ride around the pot.
I would appreciate good advice and feedback.
