« on: December 07, 2015, 06:17:59 pm »

I stripped the black one down and found the usual bad welding - which was no surprise this time.

I remade and welded the bottom subframe, fabricated a new front top mount... this went quickly and easily this time as I had the templates that I made up for my other KLR.

Initial fit up of the sidecar frame and body:

And then the final result:

Very nice Stevo, very neat... you must be only one of a handful in the world who has the balls to do this to a KLR. You've turned an ordinary bike into a real adventure machine! Well done!!  :thumleft:

What is happening on this fred??

Please tell us more. Where do you get these? Where can I get one of these?
People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day. And doing nothing often leads to the very best kind of something.

Thanks 2Bfree (Keith) I have been following your build with interest as well, I have 2 BMWs that I want to do builds on as well. I like the look of your subframe design.
