Garmin Zumo 590 en 1200 GS Trophy
« on: March 04, 2016, 07:56:34 pm »
Dankie
 :)

I have a Zumo 550 on mine. I got BMW to transfer the wiring for me from my old one and then asked them to do the wiring to the GPS cradle that comes with the bike as I did not want the GPS mounted on the handle bars. I then took the current cradle off and then mounted my Zumo cradle where the other one was. I needed to add to the bar as it is very small and my current mount could not go that small. I took a pipe and split it and folded it around the smaller bar and then added some duct tape over it. It is working ok but does move down after a while and need to realign it. I don't use my GPS that often so I am ok with what I did. I would prefer a cradle mount that can accomodate the small bar. Hope this helps.
