My bombardier guad have the same rotax engine as the older BMW 650's The twinspark model.
Anyway, yesterday while on a lekker relaxed ride about 120 km from home the following happened.
She suddenly lost power, can be described as the same when you run out of petrol just before you can flip the petcock to reserve.
So I flipped the petcock but there was no power and I pulled to the side of the road.
She idled very rough.
When you open the throttle she dies.
Checked the petrol and found that there is more than enough in the tank.
Not easy to start and idle very rough with some backfiring.
Open throttle she dies.
Battery was kapoet so I used my power pack to start.
I know this is not much info but I would like to know from the clever okes here if something sound familiar.
