I was wondering if there are some expert advice on suspension setup on the GS 1200 Adventyre bikes. I have read that the damping must be set very hard and the preload according to the load that is on the bike, so yesterday I counted the clicks that the preload knob has, and it has 40 clicks, I usualy ride 2 up and adjudt it to 6 clicks, but obviously this cant be right if its got a 40 click adjustment, and a maximum carrying capacity of 475 kg on the Adv, so surely with 2 up, and a wight of around 175 kg's I must set it higher than 6 clicks.

With the damping setting my experience was the softer I set it, the more reach I have to the ground(ek is maar n kort gat) but, the bike seemed havier to steer, so the harder I set the damping, the lighter the bike steered, and was more manouvrable. Please excuse my spelling, doing the best I can, with the poor Eng knowledge our vaalies have .... ;D

Please give me some advice and pointers..
