We were out filming this time last week, so didn't get around to our weekly posting on this forum. You can cyber test this pass below.
Today we are featuring a pass you've probably never heard of. It's also one of less than 5 passes in SA that doesn't have an Afrikaans, Dutch or English name. In our latest news there is also information of a new challenge called the Ben 10 Challenge. It involves driving 10 diverse Eastern Cape passes - some easy; some difficult - in a time period of 7 days. It's not a race, but rather an eco challenge, the details of which will be on the website soon. We will be testing the challenge ourselves from the 15th to the 20th December, whilst refilming the existing 8 passes, plus the two new ones - The Ben MacDhui Pass (with an altitude of 3001m and which will be the new SA altitude record holder) and the TT (Tenahead Traverse) which is more of a high altitude contour road (27km) rather than a true mountain pass.
We are running the challenge in conjunction with Tiffindell Ski Resort (and other role players - like Eastern Cape Tourism, who we have encouraged to join the project).
The challenge will be open to 4x4's, adventure bikers and MTB cyclists
