Went swimming, Now the dash stays on

So this weekend I gave my baby a good wash, by dumping her in a rather large puddle of water (Dont judge)


I did the usual, pulled apart the bike, got the plugs out and drained the exhaust etc.  She running like a kitten now, very nicely


I also opened up the cluster because it was dead, cleaned the contacts and the cluster started up again, However, its staying on now. Unless i remove the fuse in my glove box.

Any ideas what could cause it? broken wire? If so, where would i look?
