Close Call in the Baviaanskloof
« on: April 18, 2017, 02:33:03 pm »
Roger Purchase and Les Davis had this close call with a buffalo while riding through the Baviaanskloof

How can I be lost if I've got nowhere to go?

half-a-ton of grumpy, possibly displaced (?) Male, and he has only two known predators; Lion and Man...

nice side-step you did there, and yes, I think your bike could have had a 'headache' if it WAS on it's side-stand!

Well done  :thumleft:

Can't believe what I just saw, probably the last thing I would imagine is a buffalo charging at you in the Baviaans.
That thing is huge! Glad it ended with only a side stand incident.

I would think that they shouldve avoided that charge by giving him a bit more leeway and waiting a bit longer? :o

Blixem!!! You are indeed very lucky! Any choice made and getting away with it is always the right choice and then getting rid of the smell is also the next challenge :pot:
