Hey guys
Anyone had that PITA fuse under the batter blow?
Bike was completely dead after it had been standing for two weeks while I was away. Took battery out and charged thinking that was it (literally nothing when you turn the key)
Put it back in and still nothing. Read a bit online and found out about that stupid hidden fuse
So last night I get in there to get to it - turns out its not only blown but the fuse and the female connector was covered in corrosion and quite stuffed. Including some sediment at the bottom of the battery box
need to check tonight if the drainage hole is blocked but was in a rush.
Just curious if anyone has had this issue? It seems not uncommon - and really flippen irriates me
HOW can they put the fuse there??? If this happened in the middle of nowhere you would be quite farked as you cannot get the fuse out with standard tools basically and you would not know about it either
