Before I spend money to reset the lowered set-up on a recently purchased 690, I want to find out if anyone who has tall suspension would like to swap out.
I have the 2012 model and from what I understand these were the first model with the shorter travel forks. The bike also has a Koubalink -1 linkage at the rear.
So together these make the bike sit lower.
My plan was to buy a standard linkage for the rear from Rost Offroad, and any 48mm WP OC/CC forks from the KTM XCW/EXC range
I am interested in the standard linkage and longer travel forks from any pre-2012 model that is in equal good condition to mine, as exchange for the set-up I currently have.
Please correct me if I have my facts wrong or it i is not as straight forward as I imagine it to be, or if this thread belongs in the for-sale section.
