the Garmin that was purchased from a wilddog member and that was faulty was replaced by Garmin with a "new refurbished" unit at a cost of R3120 today cost to yours truly
Garmin found the unit to be faulty in many ways .
the lesson that I have learnt is you cant trust all members of this forum to the point of the seller telling me in a PM that I should have got someone to check the unit before I paid for it .( if I cant trust a member then who can I trust)
I am not saying anything more about this member as I know he is in the 1% of members that sell things here, I cant say more as he has taken " legal advice" and will take me on legally if I comment on any of his posts. :imaposer:
so the bargain that I got here has cost me the price of a new unit, lesson learnt :'(
