On second thought, not the one pictured above. Good photo, by the way, but too cold for me.
Good question about ladies, not so much about the weather. A little frustrating as many do not speak English. They are good looking though. A huge multi-cultural mix of people in Brussels.

Agreed with Afrikaans in Amsterdam. Except, Brussels is French. And they do NOT speak English. Not even Flemish either. Taking about a divided society!

Lovely.

Do houses have gardens? Or is it also a situation where they rent or own a plot of land for gardening on the outskirts of the city, like for instance Vienna?

Most houses have a garden. Even if that are attached in a long row sharing walls (semi-detached) and ground floor. In the city, apartments would not have and I have not seen any common gardens. Housing in Brussels is relatively affordable. This has a negative impact on congestion and it is a nightmare getting around the city.

Are scooters and those three wheeled motorcycles also popular in Belgium ? Saw thousands of them in Paris.

Did a little research into getting a bike license. They do not make it easy. Need to do a theory exam, 9 hours of training, a yard test and a road test. At least I am over 24.

Have converted my car license. Not so lucky for a bike or heavy vehicle license though. Just too bad.
