I really don't get first world countries. Who built all that crap and who pays for it all? How is their economies stable and sustainable, everyone looks so well off?

It just seems that everything is "there". Not sure how to explain it better. Here there is so much hustle and bustle and everyone is building stuff left right and center.

Anyways, my brain is too small for understanding such things.

Strong institutions are a good start to promoting development etc. Should not be that complicated. Society is very competitive though.
