TomTom pulled out of SA. This is according to the business division - the Consumer Division of TomTom is not in SA anymore. And they will not support their products anymore.
Seems to be true - I have unsuccessfully been trying to get hold of the holding / power bracket for a RIDER. The repairs division in MIrand and the previous distributors do not have stock and cannot get stock and is not prepared to try and get stock. The business division of TomTom says it is not their problem.
If you phone the 0800 toll free number, you end up in Holland, and get transferred MANY times (1o times, I kid you not !) with no one prepared to assist either.
So be warned : Don't buy a Tom Tom
