The last new battery didn't fix my issue.  On closer examination I found the cable end terminals oxidized.  Cleaned those up and it was good for a year plus.  The lockdown killed my battery though.
If you want to haul ass, you gotta mix gas.

Today, went out to the shops, walked out of PnP and tried starting the beast, chug chug nothing.
Tired several times but seemed like a dead battery, I know the GS gives no warning of a dying battery but still not sure if it's the battery or maybe the starter, the battery is between 4 to 5 years old,  I have ordered another battery in any case.
I got a delivery guy with his 125 to give me a quick jump start using my thin speaker cable that I keep on the bike, that worked fine
So I still don't know if this fix works or not, I tried starting the bike now on my garage and it started fine,  :eek7:

After the new battery is in, I will see how it goes, pulling that starter out is uncharted territory for me, but I will attempt it if I still have issues  :thumleft:
