so i have been battling with a oil leak for a while now..decided to strip last night...found the crimping at the top of the stanchion to be suspect causing the oil leak.. FFS man this is a 2008 model and not a LC that had this problem.. BMW wash their hands and say my problem..
anyway so i now need to fix..i'm rather hesitant to go the second hand route in case i get this problem again, what are my options?
I heard that there is a vendor here that manufactures the clamps as per the LC recall fix....who is it ?
so do i :
go second hand
manufacture clamps
re-swage the area to ensure a lekka fitment...
cmon ouens give me options and advice here
