And so our adventure begins - both BMW 650 GS 2008 and 2006 models. Already changed the battery on one. On the red one the headlights are burnt and I understand that can be painted instead of buying a new light, The blue one is in very good nick and taking it out it was cruising at 120km (the wife's bike), small oil leak but also looks to be a quick fix. The screen\windshield on the blue one needs to be replaced. So the moral of the story is that we planned for one and now have two and we have already learnt so much about the basic maintenance and what to look out for on the bikes. Also we only have the bikes for four days and have been invited for rides Friday/Saturday and Sunday this week end.
