Paar idees vir mods wat ek die jaar wil doen.  :lol8:

Sien noual al die plekke wat gaan afbreek van vibration.  Los eerder daai gemors en sleep jou "trailer"   :eek7:   :lol8:

Gerrard, when you say you are not “fit” for it, how different/strenuous is the riding compared to a normal boney? From one old ballie to another...

There is no comparison. Its no longer a bike. Works your whole upper body, especially hands wrists and forarms

What he said, and throw in die wind factor and road conditions and it gets worse.  Your main contributor is the sidecar that is "dragged" along.  It is a constant resistance which you must counter via your steering and riding style.

Saying all above you must learn to "pace" yourself or rather "rest" while riding.  You do this by means of throttle control or using your brakes, front or rear.
Example, when you accelerate the sidecar stays behind, the bike forward, in other words you moving left.  When you decelerate the sidecar overtake the bike, in other words you moving to the right. Your natural instinct is to counter this by steering, using your , wrists, arms and shoulders which is ok but it will drain you, but by using throttle control you can steer the rig in a straight line without using your shoulders and arms, just your wrist movement.   At a decent speed you accelerate or decelerate ever so slightly which actually steers the rig in a straight line.
The same with your brakes, front brake also brings the sidecar around, so you turn easier to the right.  Rear brake, if attached to the sidecar, stops the sidecar and you turn easier left.
Then of course if you have a horrible wind find a vehicle that is traveling the speed you are comfi with and follow in his slipstream.     And look at the camber of the road, you preferable want the rig to be slightly higher than the bike to prevent excessive dragging to the left.  For this reason Gerrard has the actuator on his rig, to jack the rig to the desired height.   I do not have that luxury.    :patch:  I ride, when it is safe, in the middle of the road or on the other side of the road.   :eek7:   :lol8:

My English sucks, so hope my explanation makes sense.     :eek7:
No matter how slow you go, you're still lapping everybody on the the couch

Mooi beskryf. Dit is veral so as hy begin 'load' in die links draaie.

Build a sidecar they said. It will be fun they said. Ja-nee !

Jy weet hy doen dit as jy vet gee en jy weet hy goen dat as jy briek, dus is daai ANTICIPATION belangrik want net daai bietjie links of regs van die stokke net voordat dinge gebeur help baie.

So ook met ratte oorsit. Jy weet as jy toemaak gaan sy regs wil draai, dus hou jy net 'n bietjie links stuur 100 msec voordat jy oorskakel, dan bly jy reguit :laughing4:
