Centre Stand
« on: March 23, 2020, 03:08:17 pm »
The Centre Stand just disappear from 'under' me when I parked the old lady in the garage a few minutes ago.

Have you seen this before; it happened to anyone else?

What would be the best - to weld it myself or to source a second hand stand from somewhere?

Got the same problem with my GSA 1200ac last week.
The guy told me it is because I stand on the leg of the stand and do not do any lifting by hand on the bike.
Luckily he had an old pin of a BMW bike. Made it a little bit thinner, pushed it into both sides and welded it.
Just image that part breaking of while riding.
So far no problem.
