Umzumbe WFO - 13th June
« on: May 11, 2009, 05:59:46 pm »
So I have secured a pass for this even though my 2nd child is just about to be born.
Who is riding and who will be down to come have a look at some extreme enduro action?

They had a fun run over similar terrain in the area and only4 guys finished more than one lap..
Gutzeit, Torlage, Lundt, Gillet...
THE names.

Its going have all the best riders and the most hectic terrain. Lets hope it does not rain !

I'm in for a ride. Who else?

Umzumbe Farmers Association Hall

Take the Hibberdene off ramp and turn left to Hibberdene following the orange markers. Continue through Hibberdene and follow the coast for about 6km's from the Hibberdene robots. Turn right at the St.Elmos turn off. Follow the tar road for 2km's. Where the tar ends there is a trading store called Injambili Trading Store. The Umzumbe farmers association Hall is directly behind the trading store.

Hmmmm.

I have a house in Ramsgate.

May bring the trials bikes down to spectate & check jetting / performance for the KZN trials nationals...

Good luck guys, I just know it is going to be a toughie, and am going through my book of excuses right now, to avoid going with my usual gang, who are entered and raring to go. May have to fake an injury again. ;)
Loving the journey!

Hmmm, in spite of the fact that I will probably regret this  :ricky:, there seems a reasonable chance I can make this one. My only problem will be getting the bike down, as I will need to travel by car with the family. Anyone got some space on trailer or bakkie to rent?

I'm nowhere near fitness levels I should be so I am entering the adventure class.
Just ride the route as an outride.

This is the way to do your first one, anyone keen on joining for the adventure of it?
Its going to be tough but with a few of us we can do at least a lap.

Erm no.
Definately not.

Adventure class means you cant ride all the obstacles or are too tired too so end up carrying your bike up a 60degree incline for 50m
Or 3 of you pulling your bike out the mud for an hour.

Real ADVENTURE !!!
