Tommy, been out of circulation for a while and your post made me google the Spring Grove dam. Hope its brought some benefit to the area.

When you speak of impoundment.....?
Impoundment... meaning when they closed the weirs to actually start storing water, round about may 2013. They expected it to take 24 months to fill, but at 9 months it's already 64% full due to the big rains we've had in the area. Going to be a lekker viewsite to visit!

 1 A Tufa Waterfall in the Wolkberg near Pietersburg. Minerals in the Water build them and instead of caving away at the Soil, they grow bigger.
2 A smaller one on my Farm in the Bewaarkloof.
