Thanks!!

For the ones on top of the Rock I used an OLD Sony Cybershot 3.2MP mik en druk, it was my first ever camera and I bought it in 2003, and it still worls like a bomb today. No tripod, no planning, just snapped away on Auto, well this little camara does not have anything else but Auto

The ones at the Union Buldings and Rietondale Park I used a Panasonic FZ-18, also no planning, no tripod, also shot on Auto Setting. I am to stupid to try and figure out Shutter and Apenture     :-\

The last on of the Joburg Skyline I took last night. It was raining late afternoon and I thought it might make a good oppertunity if the rain clears up as the sun is setting. Not as nice as I hoped for, but nature is the boss after all hey?
With this I used a Canon SX210IS mik and druk, the FZ-18's battery was flat
For the first time ever I played around with the Shutter speed, and used a tripod. I set the shutter to 10sec to see what happens, and I think it looks ok for a first time with a mik & druk

I use Auto Pano Giga to do the stitching.

I love playing arournd with panorama's and the settings, but I really have no idea what I am doing, I want to save up and buy a proper camera and go for a course so that I can learn how to do this stuff better!

some of my first attempts
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee

Help please !!!!!!
« Reply #97 on: November 29, 2010, 02:51:49 pm »
Hi

I use Photoshop Elements 8.
My problem is as follows: I select the photos I want to merge and then go to Panorama merge, all the individual photos open, but I then get the following message:
Error 1 : Unable to create Window
               OS error (1400)
ver w = new Window (res)

Why does this happen/what's wrong?
The irritating this is that it doesn't happen all of the time!!
Sometimes everything works fine, but about 60% of the time I get the Error message.

Any help/advise?
Excellence is not a skill.
It's an attitude!
