Great Great ride once again  :thumleft:
Very nice to have a few of the other EC dogs with us. Needless to say, of the WIN-GERS dropped out at the halfway mark.  :peepwall:They were also the ones, who goffed at “only 400km”, before the run, then they had all kinds of excuses after our meal at Middleton, to high tail it home. Well guys, as usual you missed the best part of the ride. Lets call it the “after breakfast run” was absolutely great.

Furthermore is was great to have Tyger along with us. Now to those who don’t know this little woman, even photo’s don’t really show here actual size. She is “TINY” and stands no taller than 1400mm in her size 3 boots. Some would call her “baksteen or 10% “ or something like that, but I can assure you all, Tyger has a moerofan adventure personality and heart. She’s too light to really kick start her bike, with decompression and all, so boyfriend 421 did all of that. She was now truly the Rose among the Thorns on this ride, and honestly showed up a few of the older rides who “bought farms” here and there.
I cannot remember all the names, but here goes, with names where I know them.
Tyger on her Suzuki DR250

The boyfriend, 421 On a very nice Husky. Now this guy is a real rubbish biker. Whilst riding along, he pulls up next to Tyger, and shows her  :thumleft: to which she also gooi’s a  :thumleft:, then he blast off, weaving straight in front of her, showering this midget with the big heart with stones and dust. TYGER, you give him  nothing for a whole month!!!! He must learn to be a bit more considerate.

Tyger on 421’s husky. NOW she really enjoyed that ride. Because the husky has a happy button, and goes like a rocket.

Tyger and 421

Now this is the expression you get when asked if she enjoyed the ride. By now she was covered in dust, and a splatter of mud, her pants were really dirty.

Thanks guys for a wonderful run. Once again, great riding, with great company.

I never took any photo's, he was up and gone before I thought to get the camera. ;D
Apparently he lost direction while watching some Giraffe that turned out to be Zebra, or maybe it was the shock that caused some confusion. >:D
Well it sure was'nt funny at the time, Jughead could have been a lot wose off.
On the funny side, I do'nt know how someone so skinny, can make so much dust. :pot:

LOL.  Was a lekka day.  Sun was shining, birds were singing (well, I couldn't hear them but I assume they were) there were good dirt roads and I was on a bike.

The road we were on was in pretty good nick, having recently been graded.  Either side had a bit of a gully with an upright embankment on the outer edge.  I was doing around 100km/h, standing checking out the scenery when I spot a large herd of "Gira-Zebra" and buck on the left.  I'm looking at them thinking "Should I stop and take a photo?  They're a little far away, will I have enough zoom to bring them closer?  Nah, I don't think so, leave it."  I look forward and "Dangfabbit!! I'm in the gully!!"  Next thing the embankment grabs hold of my left foot-peg and gear lever and well, as Fugly says, I bought the farm.  No real damage.  Bent the gear lever right back against the foot-peg, but I managed to semi-straighten it enough to carry on.  Clutch lever's a little out of shape aswell but functional.

Thanks again guys.  Was a lekka ride.  Will post some of my pics a little later.

To Tyger, all I can say is "Respect, lady, RESPECT!

[EDIT]

OK, herewith my contribution.

Misty start

Jughead, in that pic of the Sable antelope, it almost looks as if the clouds were altered!!
Beautifull.
It should be nominated for Januaries photo comp.
