Howzit from Sydney
« on: January 08, 2007, 12:53:51 am »
Hello all. Just found this site so thought I would send a quick hello from Down Under. I'm originally from just south of Durban so it?s good to sit here at work and read about what you guys are up to, makes home feel not too far away, thanks.

My current rides are a DRZ 400 and a 07 KTM 250 EXC (2T) so most of the riding I get to do is forest trail type stuff, althoug I am longing for a 950/990 to do some longer distance exploring on, one day...

Check you all later,
Wayne

Welcome mate.
Show us some pics of your riding area?

And on the 950, rather just get a more capable bike with long range, like the 640 Adv.

Shot for all the welcome?s guys.

Don?t have too many pics to show, seem to forget about the camera when I get on the bike (need to remedy that), but will try dig some up from a few guided trail tours I've been on.

Ain't that the truth.  When i was a teenager, my brother and I would body surf at Warner Beach (where my grandparents lived) and quite often the waves would be dumpers. We would call to take the wave and pull out at the last second.  The Vaalies would copy us, but would take the wave and get dumped.  They never learnt as they did this time and time again.

Nah, you got it wrong... you swim out to where the breakers start building big time... line up a vaalie-bokkie in your sights, body surf the wave in... and get tangled up in some nice bokkie legs and arms and bikini bit!    The things we did as teenagers!    Oh the memories...  :D

Damnsakes guys, that all brings back heaps of memories. I grew up on Pennington beach (usually had a cracker of a shorie) and that is almost exactly how it used to be.

Oh ja, and playing ching chong cha to see who's turn it would be to pull the next vaalie out the rip! Eish, the good old days?

The days of our youth, but then again nothing has changed.  :)

I live across the rosd from snake park, behind the Blue Waters hotel, it was always a toos up to either go to school or surf if the waves were good. Bumped into our english teacher a few times while surfing before school, so aleast we all the same thought patterns.    :D  :D

G'day Wayne

I'm in the Sutherland Shire mate. :D

Me and my girl manage to get out and about every second weekend or so on the bikes.
(Although I get many days off during the week also.)

Give me a PM if you want to tag along on the DRZ.

And welcome to Wilddogs, some good cobbers here.

Cheers: Jaq.
It's not just a mode of transport, it's a fking adventure!
