I need some advice.

The XR 600, she is broken, and I need a reliable bike shop that can work on her.

Motor needs to be split, as there something "loose" inside the combustion chamber.

I dink maybe the big end bearing has called it the day  :roll:

Any recommendations ??

If you can, do it yourself. Even XR specialists fook up.

The one we just put together was at some XR specialist dude for 6 months. We had to forcibly remove the one tappet, coz it was stripped and in so tight the bike had no compression and wouldn't start. The casing was also cracked. Brand new plastics was scratched and scuffed...etc.

Nowadays people don't seem to have pride in their work anymore.

Try Eben at Russell Campbell, he is pretty good, does the extra finishing touches.
