Had my friends bachelors on Saturday so I decided that it was a good opportunity to go and explore some of the gravel roads in that area.
Was a bit slow in getting going so after I picked some refreshments for the bachelor I got on the highway on my way to the States.
I got on to gravel just as I exited Sasolburg and headed towards Koppies. (Pics from cellphone so quality sucks a bit.)
This road runs next to the railway and I suspect that it used by big trucks as it is quite badly rutted.
Had to look aver my shoulder a few times before I took this photo.
No tar today going straight.
Closer to Koppies now and the roads are getting better:
Koppies dam is somewhere in there.
Found some nice 2 spoor between Koppies and Edenville .
