Sorry if this has been posted before:
http://www.wheels24.co.za/BikesQuads/NewModels/Honda-Crossrunner-breaks-cover-20101103

I guess this is just the smaller version of the 1200?  Not very 'adventurous' if you ask me...  Overall not bad looking though.

EDIT:  My appologies, I see this was mentioned before in this thread, oh well, now you have another link  :D

Riders keen on taking on the likes of Baviaanskloof on their two-wheelers needn’t lose interest though; Honda has also developed a more rugged version of the Crossrunner. This approach follows in the vein of Triumph’s 800 Tiger which has also been created as two versions of the same model (one road-orientated, the other meant to deal with demanding off-road terrain).

This can get interesting if they make it more rugged?

Oh how I love my Africa Twin.... I have been waiting for an updated version forever... and this is what they give us!  The 1200 would be too big for me aanyway, but it doesn't look too bad... but that 782cc... it's just bloody ugly.  I want an update Africa Twin, with the 21" front wheel, the rugget good looks, but with updated technology and a bit more power/top end.

So I guess I'll be riding my @ until the day it drops dead of exhaustion!

This from Wheels 24:

"The bike, with its 782cc, liquid-cooled V4, is part of a new wave of dual-purpose bikes that have plenty of adventure appeal but aren’t designed to (well, hardly ever) really hit the dirt.

Honda has been stingy with detailed information about the two Crossrunner models and no mention has yet been made about special technology which underpins the concepts."

Well, well, well,.......

mmmm....maybe there is hope after all.......another GS800 clone on the way perhaps?....waiting in anticipation, although the more I look at the Cross Tourer thing the more it grows on me......any idea where the radiators are on this thing? - side-mounted? or have they been moved to the front?

Thing is - their 'off roader' in our terms really is a soft - rider (V-strom, Varadero) while their 'more road orientated' bike really is a road bike (like the new Tiger with 17inch front) - not?

What makes this "softer" than a S-Ten / GS1200?

OK.

As dit waar is, dan moet ek n meneer soos n swart pornstar he.
Skaap tjops, Lammie se kerrie wors en Klein Karoo sterre;
dis mos die lewe!

Ja that is how TR try and talk a problem away, weight is weight is weight, as he is weighing over the limit of 100kg rating camping chair and cant' sit on it, but it is only a big dick problem according to him.  :imaposer:

Of dalk is jy net realisties met watter bikes in watter terrein pas. ;)

I'm not the one waiting for someone to make a 1200cc MX bike that carries 30L of fuel and weighs 130kg.

Talk about setting yourself up for disappointment.
