What a great experience... MB and Haba, the pack have already said it but thanks again for your hospitality and organising..

To the bunch... Dit was great om julle to ontmoet..... CG and Tweets, Hope the bruising etc is gone quickly! Tweets, i'm sure you would have got round that corner on the third try >:D,

Just a couple of pics taken with my BB en route to the bash, others to follow..

Leaving Pinehaven with Orange Swifty and Cocky

Thanks to Milkybar we were treated to an awesome trip to 'teelplaas' just outside Hoopstad

After the action, satisfaction.  Cocky sussing out Orange Swifty's bike in the bar in Boshoff (??).  That dude in the background with the blue jacket told the bar lady at 14:00 to call his wife who had been sitting in his bakkie since 11:00 to come join them.  He talked exactly like Tolla but eish, that lady was scared of him :patch:

Thanks to all for a wonderful time - as always , nice to see all those happy people again & make new friends.

special thanks to the organisers - well done guys  - best braai & bykosse yet

also thanks to CG's girls for carting all my crap back home

& the good folk from chalet 4 , for letting us use the shower

& extra, extra thanks to Haba & Milkybar for their fantastic hospitality & schlepping all our stuff down & the coffee tent & breakfast and, and , and  - you two are really special....

also thanks to DR BIG 750 for coming with - was so nice to see 2 Bigs together at the Bash.

Will post pics soon (& boy have I got lots )

Leaving from Hoopstad, seventeen or so bikes, with Sandrider leading the ride >:D



The section of road that claimed Cave Girl and made most of the group turn around ::)



The spot where we turned off to the mielie land, waiting for the 'opfok' :pot:



The mielie land where the hilite of the trip lay ahead for the remaining 3 x riders

Cocky was the 1st one to make liberal use of the locals invitation to show them our bikes.  Orange Swifty soon followed suite

Friday night was spent catching up with fellow dogs, so no pics from me

Saturday morning with Welsh's cage taking centre spot.  Plottie and his fellow campers opened up the frosties at 6 am, having gone to bed in the region of 4 am - don't worry about the noise Plot, your suffering on Saturday equated to an apology  :mwink:

Also back safely,

Did 1550k's for the 5 days, got home at 8am today after sleeping over in Orkney after a long ride yesterday,

To Groenie Chorse and Trailblazer thanks for the awesome time riding there and back!
