After seeing some of the stunning pictures in this thread I browsed through my collection and came across this "classic"
Not a very good picture - (mind you it was taken in 198?? with a Kodak Instamatic)
"Vinger van God" (as it was known) was a sandstone rock formation that succumbed to forces of nature late in 1988.
Located near Keetmanshoop, it was a popular tourist attraction of the time.
I am sure the Namibia dogs can tell us more about the history of the place
