There seems to be a lot of things going on during the proposed weekend.

As much as I would not like to stick my neck out on this issue, I think the majority vote should win.

Otherwise we would sit forever trying to fit the Bash in on a weekend that suits everyone. That is clearly impossible.

I suggest go with the majority vote and be done with it. We are all big boys and can handle disappointment.

November would suit me better.....It's warmer!!!!!

My niece might get married in Sept, although I have no idea when
at the moment, so I don't know if there will be a clash.

We really should consider the weather.....perhaps first decide where the
bash will be held, then decide on the month. I'm hoping it will be around the
Transkei area, and if so, how warm or cold will it be?

November is a whole lot closer than September. :D

I've just looked back to see how the first WD bash was handled, and it seems  that quite a few people had end of the year work related stuff going on in Nov.

How about October? That leaves everybody free to do the BMW thing.
The polls also only started in Aug, so Nov seemed the best month then, plus we had fewer members which made things a little easier.

I voted for the heritage day weekend in September, but I have no problem changing it to accomodate those who wish to attend that other brand exclusive event being held at the same time.

hi,the well established gs challenge is in september,why clash with it and ruin a friendship,many of the dogs are bm owners.
lets be nice and creat our own legend.
doesnt need to be a long weekend,lets get together on normal weekends. ,i know a guy who has an empty farm in utrecht,for a small fee i am sure he would let us roam the place on weekends.
