I think that KMSA would have sold quite a number of KLX250's over here if the price was right. Basicly an upgrade over the KLR 250. With electric start and being lighweight should provide a nice platform for new riders or people who wan't to explore some knarly places  :D I'd buy one.

The KLR and the KLX is very popular in Oz Dan.

Check out the Minimalist Touring thread under the Thumper section at ADVRider, you will probably enjoy some of the stories and pics of guys and gals using 200 to 250 trail bikes to explore and have fun on.

Its basically a road legal KLX300 , put the 300 kit back on for a bit more ooemph and I'll take one.
