I know there is a hell of a lot of knowledge here. Perhaps someone can help me.
I took the R1200GS in for a 40,000km service at the agents. The telelever boot and joint was also replaced due to boot damage. Two weeks after I got her back she started making weird noises when changing under load from 1st to second and sometimes 2nd to 3rd. The noise sounds like a weird sucking noise, and I imagine it to be more to the lefthand side of the machine, but I am not convinced I am an equal-opportunity hearing disabled person (might be that my own stereo processor is biased).
Any ideas? What does a loose airbox sound like? Would it behave like this? Any other thoughts?
