So it seems once you hand over the moola the dealer is not really interested anymore. I've mailed them to enquire about the KLR tail box (Kawasaki part) and the workshop/service manual (twice) but still no reply. The reason I bought the KLR from Fourways instead of DNA was because of the poor service I have had from DNA with my KLE. Do you get better after-sales support if you purchase a R100k superbike?

Btw. do I HAVE to do the 1000km service at a dealer or can I do it myself as long as I keep proof of parts purchased and work done (like it's allowed in the US)? The dealer charges around R1k for the first service which is an oil change and a general "check that everything is tight" which I don't believe for a second they do properly. I mean, they did not even do the pre-delivery check properly. The coolant reservior cap was loose and it was leaking antifreeze.
