So after 40 000 trouble free Kms on my 950S I "upgraded" to a second hand 990S with 18 000 Kms on. Yesterday with 22 500 Kms on, the fuel pump broke. Wife has a 990 from new with 27 000 Kms on, no problem so far. So here are my questions, will appreciate it if some one can give me more info:
1) Is this failure random, or do I have to get ready for wife's bike fuel pump replacement?
2) If I install a new fuel pump can I expect it to only last 22 000 K's again?
3) Is there a more robust after-market replacement or an upgrade OEM from KTM which I can trust?
