I phones my current insurer A&G just to hear what my insurance is and whether they canâ??t give me a better rate seeing that I am married now and a bit older. To my astonishment they increased my premium from R553 to R1272 on a R1150 GSA. Thatâ??s a 135% increase. ??? Their explanation â?? â??this is our annual increase and the risk profile on these kinds of motorcycles was adjustedâ?
I never claimed a cent in the 4 years I have been insured but this was their policy now. I candled the insurance immediately.
BMW quoted me R419 and my broker - Santam, together with household and wifeâ??s car and bike, the bike will cost R380.
