Yah that Ardendorf riveter is rubbish, the rivetting pin moulded to the shape of the rivet instead of peening it! But popped a ball bearing in at the interface an managed to get the chain riveted. Waste of R345

Anyone in Cape Town, Southern Suburbs have a chain riveting tool for a 525 pitch chain I could borrow for an afternoon? Before I go out and buy one, to sit in the garage and not be used for another 5 years

Andre's Rubber Supplies CC 0215580548 They make them up themselves. Get a set of polyurethane cush drive rubbers, which will last much longer. I'm running a set in my F800, and very happy. They make for the F650 too.

Will drop you a message. Might land up near that area to pick up a replacement ignition barrel. Would the rubber mountings that the forks insert  into be a bit close? Going to drop the head bearing.

Looking for someone (Southern Suburbs would be first prize) that can weld the ignition post back onto a 1150GS triple clamp. Bike was stolen and since recovered but with the obvious ignition and lock damage! Can this be safely welded?

If I can get the barrel out, I would recode it to the key I have
