We left the Makkedaad caves at 7 and had lunch at Padlangs at 3 o clock, but we stopped plenty for breather and smokes. PS: the carage in baviaans only stocks LRP fuel and not unleaded. Will post RR tomorow morning.

It took us 8 hours from Baviaans gate to exit, the mud on the top of last pass is you're only concern if it keeps raining but it cleared from patensie side. Just pack an extra pair of legs cause they take quite a beating up the passes. Where are you staying friday?

No only 1 place called Langwater it is a deep crossing ( only one at a bend so you can't mis it ) I had no problems, just be carefull of the big mud puddles some has got quite deep and sticky mud. I learned that the hardway today, but great fun!!

Hey guys, just returned from Baviaans and it is truly awesome. Lots of water,roads are in good condition except +- wmd km of extremely muddy roadworks on Patensie side of geelhoutbos. Enjoy!!
