The rebuild was done at 101600km. The main gearbox drive cracked (no idea why) and seeing the motor was opened I decide to do a rebuild which is what one normally does at 100000.

Me thinks it would be cheaper in the long run to buy a new bike and sell the Dakar as spares to whomever.
I would love to do the job myself but just don't have the time and I need transport as this is my only means of travel.
