I've got a GS650 Dakar in for repairs... and guess what? no spares. Was told that the part I'm waiting for will only be available in JAN 2013. WHAT THE HELL!!!! I cannot believe that a company like BMW are so bad with this problem, but then, you read of the US getting there parts chop/chop...

Me thinks it would be cheaper in the long run to buy a new bike and sell the Dakar as spares to whomever. I would love to do the job myself but just don't have the time and I need transport as this is my only means of travel.

Then one has to do the whole registration again. And one never knows what one gets. It's a change you take I suppose. But it's always an option and worth looking at.

I need a front sprocket nut for a GS650 Dakar. BMW don't have stock and most of the dealers are closed until next week. I need one as this is my only means of transport and need to get work on Monday. Anyone know who may have this little beast in stock? Mine fell of some time and only noticed...
